HTC Desire 530 Review of Pros And Cons

Though a low-key 5-inch HD-720p display and a so-so 2200mAh battery add a couple of slight cons to its specs, the middle-class HTC Desire 530 mirrors many high-tier models from the brand through its pros.

Among its selling points are a 16GB memory that can be expanded by up to 2TB and supports Flex Storage , which is basically a method of expanding the native storage by encrypting the phone's microSD card as internal memory. Joining the mix are HTC's signature BoomSound audio technology , NFC for handling payments using your phone, as well as a soft-touch polycarbonate finish plus a complementary retro lanyard .

While its 8- and 5-megapixel cameras sound appreciable, their 720p-only maximum video recording capability seems a bit off for a 2016 mid-ranger. That said, its overall mix of pros and cons still sounds passable to us.
