- Analysis by KJ David

Even though it does not offer fingerprint-based security and stays under the 3000mAh power threshold (It has a 2800mAh battery), the HTC Desire 830 offers specs that were still at the high-end level when it came out.

Among its pros are a 64-bit eight-core 1.5GHz processor paired up with a 3GB RAM in the hardware aspect, while a 13-megapixel f/2.0 OIS-rigged camera takes charge of the imaging department. We also like the up-to-2TB top-up allowance for its 32GB on-board storage. Additionally, it delivers a familiar blend of Dolby as well as HTC BoomSound audio and sports an HTC UltraPixel frontal secondary camera . Wrapping up its pros and cons are a 5.5-inch Full HD display finished with Corning Gorilla Glass and a two-toned case finish.

In summary, the Desire 830 brings nothing new to the 2016 table, but it does own several signature HTC perks.
