The One A9s, unveiled by HTC during the IFA 2016, may be a newer version of the 2015 A9, but it still falls on a mid-range shelf spot for us. In fact, its 5-inch screen now dons a 1280 x 720 (HD) resolution instead of its mother model's 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) quality. Additionally, it comes with only 2300mAh of battery power , which sounds discouraging, compared to the roughly-3000mAh power caps offered by some models with comparable hardware setups.

Speaking of hardware, pros like a 2GHz true-eight-core Helio P10 processor and a 3GB RAM (a 2GB version is also available) try to make up for its cons on the display and stamina fronts. A couple other high-end specs, particularly, a fingerprint sensor and a 32GB maximum internal memory extendable by up to 2000GB are on board as well.

Wrapping up the HTC One A9s's pros and cons are a dual-finish metallic body and a familiar duo of 13- and 5-megapixel cameras , which consequently top it off as a decent option for users who want a semi-high-end Android, but are on a relatively-tight budget.
