LG Rebel LTE Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

Though it calls itself a rebel, the LG Rebel LTE, according to its specs, closely obeys entry-level norms. As a result, it suffers from cons like a 4.5-inch FWVGA-480p screen and a 5-megapixel HD-video-only rear camera . It also only has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera , which at least delivers LG's signature Gesture Shot function for selfies .

In terms of hardware, it runs on a mundane 1.1GHz quad-core processor and has only 1940mAh of battery power -- the average power cap was roughly 2300mAh as of its release. Those aside, it does also have 4G LTE connectivity and Capture+ , an app that lets you jot down quick notes or schedule pop-up memos, on board. An M4/T3 hearing aid rating join its pros as well.

Overall, while its assortment of pros and cons potentially makes it a tolerable starter Android, the Rebel LTE is obviously no revolutionary 2016 release.
