LG Stylus 2 Plus Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

The stylus-pen-equipped LG Stylus 2 Plus, as hinted by its name, is an upgraded version of the plain Stylus 2. That being said, we still spotted a couple of cons among its multitasking-oriented pros.

While it doubles up the number of CPU cores from 4 to 8 and extends the RAM from 2GB to 3GB , it only runs at 1.2GHz , whereas many other octa-core models clock in at 1.4GHz or higher. It also does not upgrade the 3000mAh battery capacity , despite the aforementioned hardware overhaul potentially bound to sucking more energy.

In other aspects, the Stylus 2 Plus boasts specs like a pair of 16- and 8-megapixel cameras as well as a 32GB internal memory that can be expanded by a whopping 2TB via microSD. Topping off its pros and cons is a 5.7-inch Full HD screen (the plain Stylus 2 has an HD-only resolution), which for us, fittingly matches its stylus accessory.
