A member of LG's family of entry-level and mid-range X-series models, the X5's biggest cons are its HD-only (1280 x 720) 5.5-inch screen and 1.3GHz quad-core CPU , both of which were common indicators of low-end Androids as of its release.
That being said, some of its pros, such as a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera and NFC support (mainly for mobile payments), take this 7.2mm-slim model a notch higher than many of its competitors. Additionally, it has a 2800mAh battery pack , which, even though fails to impress the power-hungry user, sounds appreciable compared to the roughly-2000mAh-only power caps offered by some other models on the mid-end market. Joining its specs are a 2GB LPDDR3 RAM, a 16GB memory, and must-have 4G LTE connectivity.
As revealed by its pros and cons, the LG X5 could have done better in certain aspects, but for shoppers who want a not-too-high-end, but not-too-basic smartphone, it sounds like a decent choice.
