LG X max Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the LG X max, by LG

- Analysis by KJ David

Forget about what its name could mean, because the 2016 LG X max does not max anything out when it comes to technical specifications. In fact, cons like a 5.5-inch TFT In-Cell display suffering from an HD-only (1280 x 720) resolution nail it to low-level Android shelves. Additionally, it does not impress us with its quad-core 1.3GHz CPU , given that it was a predominant facet among budget-class smartphones when it came out.

On the flip side, we caught pros like a 5-megapixel selfie camera with selfie flash and an auto selfie function as well as a 13-megapixel rear-facing primary camera amidst its features. Versus the roughly-8.9mm average (as of its release) thickness, its 7.2mm-slim body does not sound too shabby either.

With a passable 2800mAh battery and 16GB of on-board memory rounding out its list of pros and cons, the X max targets shoppers who want a mass-tier Android phone that pays a little more attention to imaging than most others.
