We are not quite sure why this 5-inch Android is named the LG X Skin, since its specifications do not seem that attractive for a 2016 release. It does, however, rock a 6.9mm-thin body , making it roughly 22% thinner than the average smartphone when it came out.
Among its cons are a 1.5GB-only RAM , given the number of comparable models with 2GB RAMs in tow, and a sub-average 2100mAh power capacity . It also sports an 8-megapixel-only main camera , while the X5, which resides in the same price group, has a higher-resolution (13-megapixel) camera in comparison. As for its pros, the X Skin features NFC for mobile micropayments, as well as a 16GB on-board storage , the latter being exactly twice what lots of other entry-level models pack.
So, its mix of pros and cons is not exactly an eye-catcher, but if you are looking for a relatively-cheap LTE-ready Android, the X Skin could cure that itch.
