The ZTE Axon 7 does away with the original Axon's dual-rear-camera technology , yet still screams premium-end with its 20-megapixel f/1.8 PDAF rear camera .
Other than its promising main cam, this 5.5-inch QHD-1440p AMOLED flagship also boasts a quad-core 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 processor. It comes in two variants according to memory and RAM: a 128GB-memory version with a titanic 6GB of RAM and a less-ambitious 64GB version with a 4GB RAM, the former equipped with Force Touch , which is ZTE's take on the 3D touch recognition technology.
While we think it could have done better than a 3250mAh battery capacity , specs like an 8-megapixel f/2.2 selfie camera and the Fingerprint 3.0 security feature make it somewhat a forgivable con. Finishing it off are a reversible USB Type-C connector and an NFC chip, both familiar premium Android facets.
Summing things up, while we caught a couple of flaws in its pros and cons selection, ZTE's Axon 7 is nevertheless closer to the seventh heaven of the smartphone world than all previous ZTE flagships.
