ZTE Blade V7 Max Review of Pros And Cons

Even though it misses on a Quad HD (1440p) screen resolution and does away with a 64GB or 128GB internal memory (it only has 32GB) , which were considered premium-class pros around its release, the ZTE Blade V7 Max takes its base model's specs a level higher nevertheless.

Its biggest selling points come in the form of a 4GB RAM (a 3GB version is also available) and a 1.8GHz octa-core CPU , hardware components met by a 16-megapixel PDAF rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie cam with a color-temperature flash .

The V7 Max also features a fingerprint scanner stealthily embedded into its side home button as well as a 2.5D-curved cover glass . VoLTE and a coating of either Elegant Gold, Bright Moon Silver, or Rose Gold top off its high-caliber bundle of pros and cons.

Verdict: While this V7 spinoff establishes itself as an overall upgrade over the original model, we are not ready to call it a fully-premium 2016 Android just yet, mostly because of the non-4K screen resolution (and maybe also because that 3000mAh battery is not all that impressive in a 5.5-inch smartphone).
