List of The Newest 4G Mobile Phones 2024

Newest 4G Phones 2024

The fourth generation of cellular communications technology is called 4G, estimated to be at least ten times faster than existing 3G networks. 3G phones can transfer data at speeds of up to 2 Mbps, while 4G phones can transmit data at 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps. That makes 4G phones potentially 50 times faster, in theory, than the 3G phones. The phones on our list below are the latest 4G phones available, and are among the fastest in the market today.

The HTC Evo 4G, one of the first 4G phones made available, never went over 3 Mbps during tests conducted across the States. Verizon tested their speeds and found that their 4G networks could only reach an average of 5 to 12 Mbps (download speed) and 2 to 5 Mbps (upload speed). But compared to 3G networks that can only reach 500 Kbps to 1.5 Mbps, 4G cell phones still win hands down.
