One of two smartphones unveiled by Acer during the IFA 2016 in Berlin, the Acer Liquid Z6 Plus banks on several high-end pros. Sadly, though, it apparently does not come with a 4K video-recording option and has a 5-megapixel-only selfie camera (some similarly-specked devices rock 8-megapixel front cams) -- slight cons for any Android inching towards a high-end shelf spot.
Looking past those setbacks, however, the Z6 Plus is home to a promising 4080mAh battery as well as an eight-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 processor assisted by 3GB of RAM . It also lines up with many upscale contenders in terms of rear cam resolution in spite of its lack of 4K imaging, with a 13-megapixel camera sitting on its back side .
The Liquid Z6 Plus likely holds its own versus many other high-enders in terms of security and display, rocking a fingerprint scanner and a 2.5D-glass 5.5-inch Full HD screen correspondingly, while a metal back casing ties all its pros and cons together.
All said and done, this Liquid model may miss out on a couple of flagship-tier specs, but it nonetheless sounds like a respectable option if you are in the market for a high-end Android.
