Alcatel Fierce XL Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Alcatel's Fierce XL is a holiday 2015 release that brings Enhanced Google Translate alongside a Polaroid camera mode , which basically lets you add notes and filters right after taking pictures -- though this option is nothing new to the 2015 market. That said, Alcatel wasn't as fierce about its camera resolutions, pinning its main camera at 8 megapixels and its selfie cam at 2 . In addition, its Snapdragon 210 CPU runs at a slightly slower clock rate (1.1GHz) than most other quad-core chips (1.2GHz/1.3GHz) on the market. It also offers an HD-only (720p) screen, though the 5.5-inch space coupled with a 2500mAh battery capacity is not half bad.

All-in-all, the Fierce XL pitches a couple of relatively fresh specs to Alcatel's clientele, but it is by no means a fiercely-specked budget Android.
