Though the Fierce XL had been on shelves for months prior to the CES 2016, Alcatel brought back the 5.5-inch model and gave it a software makeover -- its specs aren't as fierce as you might expect, however.
Its cons include a 1280 x 720 pixel (HD) screen resolution 
(Full HD would have obviously been nicer) and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera , the latter easily overshadowed by some of its rivals' 5-megapixel selfie shooters. On the upside, its pros include the voice-activated Cortana personal assistant 
, which is a by-product of its Windows 10 Mobile operating system. It also scores notable talk (840 minutes) and standby times (820 hours) , despite the 2500mAh battery power not being that far from the roughly-2000mAh average when it came out.
Topping off the Alcatel Fierce XL (Windows)'s pros and cons are VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) and the T-Mobile Wi-Fi calling technology , which we would say are nice facets to have on a phone that falls short of high-end.
