Alcatel Flash Review & Pros And Cons

Picture of the Alcatel Flash, by Alcatel

- Analysis by KJ David

Debuting in the middle of 2014, the 5.5-inch Alcatel Flash's HD (1280 x 720) resolution is not that great for a phablet . In fact, its display is rather average compared to many of its Full HD rivals.

Its array of pros and cons also lack a couple of things which Alcatel has played around with in the past: LTE connectivity and up to nine base color options. As for the up side, the Flash probably takes its name from the 13- and 5-megapixel cameras sitting on its rear and front sides respectively. Its 3200mAh battery and octa-core processing are quite appreciable too, leading us to believe that Alcatel wanted to out-muscle most mid-tier phablets instead of outclassing them.
