Alcatel Flash Plus Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Alcatel Flash Plus, by Alcatel

- Analysis by KJ David

With an upgraded selfie camera (from 5 to 8 megapixels) and twice the memory and RAM (16GB, 2GB) that the Flash offers (8GB, 1GB), the 5.5-inch Flash Plus is shaping up to be a passable update to Alcatel's imaging-oriented pitch.

Despite that, though, we still caught a couple of drawbacks within its selection of pros and cons. We were quite disappointed that the Flash Plus did not upgrade the display to a Full HD (or higher) capacity . It also has Android KitKat preloaded , which is surprising seeing that it was released when the Lollipop version became widely available. Still, with a 13-megapixel camera and a 3500mAh battery , we would not be surprised to see the Flash Plus get shelved alongside other large-screen high-end devices.
