Alcatel Flash Plus 2 Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

Although a clear upgrade over the older Flash Plus model, the 2016 Alcatel Flash Plus 2 sticks to a fixed-focus 5-megapixel camera, which at least has 1.12-micron pixels and a frontal LED flash , and awkwardly has a lower battery capacity -- it has 3000mAh on board, while its predecessor has 3500mAh.

Those slight cons aside, this phone still joins lots of other flashy 2016 models, with pros like a 13-megapixel camera PDAF camera , a 360-degree-rotational fingerprint detector , and a 64-bit split-octa-core Helio P10 CPU aided by 3GB of RAM within its specs list. The Flash Plus 2 also comes with a few pluses on the music front, such as a Hi-Fi audio system, an NXP9890 amplifier , and the Flash MIX music-mixing application.

All that said, this set of pros and cons is not quite of a premium caliber, but it does make the 5.5-inch Full HD Flash Plus 2 a definite 2016 high-end contender.
