For a basic candybar released in 2014, the Alcatel 2052 boldly faces some tough competition. However, it seems to offer most basic mobile functions, including mobile internet with its WAP v2.0 browser, Bluetooth v2.1 and an FM transmitter. It also comes with a music player and support for up to 32GB if memory expansion via a microSD card -- which is somehow a nice touch to a basic device. Sadly, Alcatel does not mention hearing aid certification and GPS navigation among its perks. We have seen both features on several comparable models. It clearly does not pack much, but the 2052 might still fill the spot of a secondary mobile companion.
