Perhaps with low-budget shoppers in mind, Alcatel came up with a pretty low-cost feature set for the 5-inch Fierce 2. For instance, its 4GB internal memory and 1GB RAM are relatively old, considering its August 2014 release. It also shares similar camera resolutions with most entry-level smartphones, with 5 megapixels on the back and 0.3 megapixels on its front cam. It does run on a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, just like its 4.5-inch predecessor, but this type of hardware is rather growing increasingly popular even for low-cost Androids. The Alcatel OneTouch Fierce 2 might not give you the premium experience, but if you are looking for a modest smartphone that packs the essentials, it might be up for consideration.
