Despite being pinned to a similar Android class (mid-tier) as the 3G version, the Alcatel Pixi 3 (5.5) 4G comes with several perks that we did not find on its roughly identical sibling.

In addition LTE being included in its network reach, this model also comes with a 4G Download Booster that promises to speed up large-file downloads by using LTE and Wi-Fi (3G) connections simultaneously. The Miracast technology is on board, too.

But the 4G version is not all about pros, as it has a slightly lower battery capacity (2800mAh) than the 3G's 2910mAh. However, this con seems like only a slight drawback to what is shaping up to be a respectable mid-range deal.
