Alcatel OneTouch Pixi Charm LTE Pros & Cons Review

Though it does not exactly pack charming specs, this prepaid pitch from Straight Talk seems to have enough in the bag to get the ball rolling for novice Android users.

That being said, its VGA camera (0.3-megapixel) for selfies will likely be a disappointment, regardless of how new you are to smartphones. It also does not go beyond a 1GB RAM , despite running on a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU whose clock speed is obviously higher than those of most other entry-level prepaid Androids.

A couple more appreciable specs from the Alcatel OneTouch Pixi Charm LTE are its Wi-Fi calling capability, which sounds like a nifty alternative for when you are not getting any cellular coverage, as well as 1020-minute talk time (28-day standby time), which is way above the average as of its market entry. 4G LTE also tops off its mix of pros and cons nicely, considering that a lot of comparable phones stick to a classic 3G-only network reach.
