Alcatel OneTouch Pixi First Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

Out of several Alcatel models announced early on in September 2015, this WVGA (800 x 480) 4-incher is the most basic, so Pixi First might not be the right name for it. As a matter of fact, its mundane 1.2GHz quad-core CPU and 512MB RAM may be the last things tech-savvy users will ever admire. Its 1450mAh battery power feels limited as well, considering that a number of other entry-level models have at least 2000mAh to offer.

The positive side of its pros and cons, though minor, include two SIM card slots and a microSD socket (32GB maximum). It also tries to give its budget-class offering some class with three metallic-colored lids , which you can interchange to suite your preference. However, the Pixi First might need a dab of some magical pixi dust if it wants to charm advanced Android users.
