Alcatel's Pop series may be in the right direction, but we still caught some cons among the Pop 2 (4.5) Dual SIM's specs. For instance, it only has an 854 x 480 display resolution 
-- a major drawback by 2014 standards. Its 5- and 0.3-megapixel cameras (which surprisingly still exists) also fail to match the camera duos on many other entry-level Androids released in the same year, at a time when people expect to use their phones for selfies too. Additionally, a 1GB RAM no longer sounds impressive as of its release date.
That said, Alcatel does dress it with a little style, coming in an array of fresh colors 
and its own dual-purpose flip cover . The built-in download booster is also an obvious pro for a rather basic model.
