Alcatel Astro Pros & Cons Review

Picture of the Alcatel Astro, by Alcatel

- Analysis by KJ David

Perhaps meant to give way to more capable 2015 Alcatel models, the 4.5-inch Pop Astro offers only 4GB's worth of native storage and a 1GB RAM. While a 5-megapixel back-facing sensor is rather common among entry-level Androids, we found its VGA (0.3-megapixel) sidekick quite unacceptable by 2015 standards.

That said, its pros and cons do include several nifty touches, such as Wi-Fi calling , tri-band LTE connectivity , and a 1.5GHz clock speed (slightly higher compared to that of most of its competitors).

The Pop Astro might have some noticeable pros, but its relatively dated cons almost make it a negligible smartphone.
