The Alcatel Pixi Theatre sports a decent 8-megapixel shooter on its rear , but it notably lacks 1080p recording (It produces 720p clips at best) -- a feature that's common among many of its colleagues. The 2-megapixel selfie camera up front is also a bit underwhelming next to the 5-megapixel sensors that dominate its subcategory, but it has the advantage of having an LED flash both at the front and at the rear .

As for the pros and cons of its display, its facade boasts of being covered by Dragontail glass . Its phablet-sized 6-inch screen , which is probably its most defining feature, doens't really have the luxury of having a noteworthy resolution. At 720p , it produces a display quality that is average at best.

Performance-wise, its quad-core processor runs at a slightly-discouraging (for its price range, at least) 1.1GHz . However, the higher-than-expected RAM size of 2GB more or less makes up for this con.

As for the battery, it's marginally-better than many competing models (save, of course, for the power-specializing LG X power) at 2580mAh .

Overall, the Alcatel Pixi Theatre seems like a decent option for those who seek a large display at a low price point. Aside from this facet, however, its pros and cons don't really let it stand out compared to other LTE-capable phones of the same status.
