This 5-inch HD alternative to the high-end Zenfone 2 is simply not on the same level, reducing the overall offering of pros and cons, yet retaining key software and design elements.
From 13 and 5 megapixels, its cameras now stand at 8 and 2 megapixels 
accordingly, though the PixelMaster technology 
(Low Light mode, Beautification, etc.) is still on board. The Zenfone 2E also cuts back on performance, dropping to a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor and a 1GB RAM -- the Zenfone 2 boasts 4GB of RAM. That aside, it looks and possibly sounds like the upscale model, rocking Asus's Ergonomic Arc design and SonicMaster audio system .
The way we see it, the Zenfone 2E is a cheaper alternative for those who might get overwhelmed by the full-blown Zenfone 2's profile.
