- Analysis by KJ David

This 5.5-inch edition of Asus's premium 5.7-inch Zenfone 3 Deluxe (ZS570KL) may not have its big brother's 6GB RAM nor its 23-megapixel camera , but its specs remain within the deluxe territory regardless.

Its biggest pros include a Snapdragon 625 eight-core processor clocked at 2GHz and a still-promising 4GB RAM . Also, despite settling for a Full-HD-only resolution (instead of Quad HD) and only 64GB of internal storage this time (a slight con, knowing that its larger sibling is offered in a 256GB variant), the Zenfone 3 Deluxe 5.5 rocks a Gorilla Glass 4 finish and supports an enormous 2TB of memory expansion .

Those pros and cons are joined by a 16-megapixel 4K-video rear camera that delivers chic features like TriTech Autofocus, a dual-LED flash, and both optical as well as electronic image stabilization , making its aforementioned reduction in raw resolution a bit negligible. Fingerprint identification , LTE Cat 6 connectivity (with 2x carrier aggregation) , and a 3000mAh QC3.0 battery also find spots on its feature set.

So, it may lose out on certain fronts versus its 5.7-inch base model, but the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe 5.5 is nevertheless a viable option for tech-hungry users like us.
