While the Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra is disturbingly-heavy, weighing 233g (most other Androids weigh in around the 150g mark), it is also a heavyweight when it comes to technical specifications, with its bundle of pros and cons being fronted by a 6.8-inch Gorilla Glass 4 screen with the ASUS TruVivid technology , although it only has a Full-HD-1080p definition , instead of Quad-HD-1440p.

Leading its pros are a 23-megapixel laser-focusing rear camera , though it only captures FHD videos at best , whereas the Deluxe variant records 4K videos. That said, it has a higher power capacity at 4600mAh , with BoostMaster Fast Charging still in tow.

Working together under its 6.8mm-thin shell are an octa-core Snapdragon 1.8GHz 64-bit processor , a 4GB LPDDR RAM , and an Adreno 510 graphics processor. It is preloaded with 128GB of expandable eMCP memory and it comes with dual 5-magnet speakers tied up with the ASUS SonicMaster 3.0 audio technology .

In the end, while it does not offer the Deluxe's 6GB RAM, the Zenfone 3 Ultra's wide screen and mammoth battery power may be enough to attract a good number of users eyeing a flagship-caliber phablet.
