One of several versions of Asus's Zenfone Go, this model (ZB500KL) has the makings of a respectable budget-tier smartphone, with some cons display- and hardware-wise, but some pros in the multimedia department.
Kicking off its not-so-appealing specs is a modest 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor 
that comes with 2GB of accompanying RAM. Additionally, just like a good number of other entry- to middle-class 2016 Androids, it opts for a middling 5-inch HD-720p IPS screen with a 294ppi pixel density , which is at least crafted with Asus's trademark TruVivid display technology 
.
Heading over to its selling points, the ZB500KL is loaded with 16GB of expandable eMCP memory accompanied by 100GB of free Google Drive storage for 2 years , the latter being a customary facet among recent Asus smartphones. Also joining in is its 2600mAh capacity , which is significantly higher than what a couple of its Zenfone Go siblings pack. Note, though, that it scores a dismal 440-minute single-charge lifespan and reaches only up to 534 minutes of 3G talk time .
Further down its list of pros and cons, we found a tolerable (for a model in this class) 13-megapixel f/2.0 PixelMaster camera , with an autofocus-enabled 5-megapixel selfie shooter sitting up front. Its multimedia perks also include a 5-magnet speaker that claims to provide up to 40% better performance compared to conventional audio solutions.
Oddly, the ZB500KL's worldwide/SEA variants do not offer 4G LTE connectivity , though the Brazil version does reel in LTE speeds. Tying everything together is its rear control keys, for ambidextrous use , and relatively-wide array of color options , Glamour Red and Sheer Gold being a couple of them.
In a nutshell, the Asus Zenfone Go ZB500KL's pros and cons make it a Marshmallow-sporting (with ZenUI) Android that targets mass-tier smartphone shoppers who prioritize imaging above all other aspects.
