- Analysis by KJ David
Despite its relatively low-key camera pair (8-megapixel rear, 2-megapixel front) and rather limited touch-screen real estate (3.5 inches) , the BlackBerry Classic might still attract those looking for a business or work-oriented smartphone -- as does many other BB models. We found its hardware quite satisfying, particularly the 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 2GB RAM combo. BlackBerry also filled it with their signature features, including the BlackBerry Assistant and BBM Video. Fronting these perks is the signature 40-key facade (QWERTY keypad and navigation panel) , which is a key selling point for most of BB's target audience.
Its name might sound old, but the BB Classic clearly matches our expectations from a 2014 release.
