We are happy that BlackBerry souped up its Z10. The Z30 now has a 5-inch display and an improved 8-megapixel camera (with 5-element optics). But the improvements come at a cost in weight, since the new version weights 170 grams! It also has a non-removable battery - but is it such a big deal considering how short the lifespan of a cell phone is nowadays?

A year ago, this smartphone's on-paper performance would have been just fine, but by today's standards, the 1.7 GHz Processor, Qualcomm MSM8960T Pro processor with a RAM of only 2GB seems a little pale.
It's frustrating that we were not able to find information about its weight.
