BLU Advance 4.5 Pros And Cons Review

Picture of the BLU Advance 4.5, by BLU

Just like other phones in their specialty series, BLU plays mix-and-match with entry-level smartphone features then slaps on a relatively cheap price tag to it. The dual-SIM feature is quite nice as it fits tight-budget users and global jet-setters alike, not to mention that you usually don't find dual SIM too often on newer Android phones. We are quite surprised to find out that it has a dedicated VideoCore IV graphics processor, considering that others within its class don't even bother... but with only a 1.0GHz processor, perhaps it is more of a coping mechanism? The 1700mAh battery power also exceeds the expected capacity, and the 5-megapixel (720p) camera is not too shabby either. The Advance 4.5 might not sit up there with the big boys, but it should be there when you need it.
