Seemingly a re-release of its original model, the BLU Energy X 2 offers the same key pro, which is a hefty 4000mAh battery , though it sadly has a roughly-similar set of cons as well. Its drawbacks include a 1GB-only RAM assisting its quad-core 1.3GHz processor and its apparent lack of 4G LTE connectivity , the latter being almost unacceptable by 2016 Q1 standards. This model is also pretty heavy at 190 grams , which is weird, considering that its predecessor weighed in at a more-tolerable 154g.
As for its selling points, specs like a 64GB microSD card slot (8GB native memory) and a 5-inch Curved Touch Panel HD display decorate this mass-tier BLU model. It also has a 5-megapixel selfie camera this time , replacing the base model's sub-standard 2-megapixel front cam.
To rehash, most of the Energy X 2's pros and cons may be nothing new for the budget-class market, but its high stamina does not come by often in this smartphone class -- though other BLU energy models go farther by packing 5000mAh batteries.
