The BLU Grand M is a low-end smartphone meant for Android newbies or the most low-key of users. Starting off with display specs, it has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels 
. While it's true that many of the cheapest of models still sport such a low number of pixels, this figure is quickly becoming almost archaic. The fact that the display size is five inches (compared to smaller low-end models of the same resolution) further worsens the scenario, as this dilutes the sharpness to a discouraging 196DPI .
While the quality of its screen is disappointing, there is an evident attempt from BLU to elevate its appeal through equipping it with a curved glass finish 
. This focus on physical appearance is further manifested in an aluminum unibody , which is always pleasant to see on a budget smartphone. While it's thinner than many similar models at 9.35mm, this amount of physical depth, being above the average across all phones as of April 2017, is quite surprising for a device that doesn't really pack in a lot of features.

Its combo of a 5-megapixel main camera and a 3.2-megapixel selfie cam obviously won't make any self-respecting photo junkie weep with joy, but these specs are actually relatively-promising in its subcategory. Furthermore, both cameras are equipped with its own LED flash .
As for performance pros and cons, the amount of RAM in this device (512MB) is disheartening , but its CPU clock speed is more than decent at 1.3GHz .
Lastly, we touch the subject of its battery. At 2200mAh , this comes out as one of its better features, considering that it's not easy to come by 2000mAh-and-above power tanks in its category.

To end this pros and cons review, the BLU Grand M's display and low RAM may be significant let-downs, but it makes up for these by sporting a reliable (on paper, at least) battery, a comparatively-good physical design, and a good-for-its-price-range clock speed.
