A middle-class smartphone with a lot of life in it, the BLU Life Max's biggest pro is its 3700mAh battery capacity , which is not only higher than what several of its relatives pack, but also outstrips what some popular 2016 flagships offer. Given its large battery, it also boasts favorably-high endurance scores, including a 30-day standby time and up to 3 days of standard usage .

As for the rest of its pros and cons, the Life Max keeps it rather mild with a 5.5-inch HD-720p-only screen that at least has a trendy (around its release date) curved cover glass up front. Considering what several of its predecessors sport, its 8-megapixel primary camera ends up as a con in our book as well. Additionally, it operates on an elementary 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor under the hood. That being said, its middling engine is accompanied by a Mali-T720 graphics chip and a tolerable 2GB RAM.

On the flip side, joining its positive specs (ergo, pros) are a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor coupled with an encrypted file management system , a 2016 trend that a number of its middle-class competitors passed up, as well as a 5-megapixel selfie cam accompanied by a frontal LED flash . Sadly, it sticks to a 16GB internal memory , whereas a few other Life models boast 32GB or 64GB storage caps.

A couple of its finishing touches include a polished metal middle frame and a soft-touch finish on the battery cover , which many fashionistas will more-than-likely choose over glossy polycarbonate housings. 4G LTE connectivity, and, consequently, a 150Mbps peak data rate is on board as well, probably to make sure that it can hold its ground versus many other 2016 mid-rangers when in the connectivity contest.

So, here's what the Life Max's pros and cons tell us: It is a mid-level 5.5-inch smartphone for users who place stamina and phone physique in top priority.
