BLU Pure XL Review & Pros And Cons

- Analysis by KJ David

BLU pitches us a 6-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) model in the Pure XL, but, even though it tries to maintain a purely-premium set of pros-and-cons, it's not without a couple of setbacks.

Two of its primary selling points are perched at the back, namely, a 24-megapixel sapphire-protected true-tone-flash camera and a fingerprint scanner . Despite its high-resolution main cam, however, it does not capture 4K videos (only Full HD). Its hardware consists of a Helio X10 octa-core processor , a 3GB RAM, a 3500mAh battery, and 64GB's worth of internal memory -- pretty spacious even by high-end standards. We also like its DTS Surround Sound and file encryption system . Those pros come at the expense of convenience, though, as the Pure XL weighs 202g , but we would say it's worth it for a premium unlocked smartphone.
