BLU Studio C 8+8 LTE Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

In exchange for 4G LTE connectivity , this version of the Studio C 8+8 has a quad-core CPU that runs at only 1GHz , while the 3G-only model, still with a four-core chip, clocks in at 1.3GHz. That said, it features the same mid-level pros, including the front-and-back 8-megapixel camera setup and the 3000mAh Super Battery promising up to 72 hours of standard use .

Also joining this edition's specs are a Mali-T720 GPU (a slight upgrade over its sibling's Mali-400 graphics engine), a 1GB-only RAM , and a so-so 8GB memory expandable by up to 64GB. Sadly, it does not enhance the 3G model's HD-720p only 5-inch display and apparently comes only in dark blue this time -- the 3G C 8+8 was also offered in bronze and rose gold.

At the end of the day, the BLU Studio C 8+8 LTE's mix of pros and cons may be less-colorful than the 3G model in certain aspects, but it should do the trick for users who want a high-stamina Android with a full-blown 4G network reach.
