BLU Studio G2 Review of Pros And Cons

Picture of the BLU Studio G2, by BLU

- Analysis by KJ David

BLU might need to go back to the drawing board with the Studio G2, since this sequel phone is almost as basic as its 2015 predecessor. By that, we mean that its cons include a miserably-low 512MB RAM , an FWVGA (854 x 480) 196ppi 5-inch display , and a network reach limited to 3G HSPA+ bands (21Mbps peak data rate only) . It also rocks a modest 5-megapixel f/2.8 rear camera , though its Full HD maximum video-recording resolution is a pro versus what plenty of other entry-level Androids are capable of.

A few other appreciable specs include an 8GB memory -- only because many of its low-end rivals settle for 4GB memories -- and a 5-megapixel selfie camera . It also dons what BLU calls a candy-shell-coated housing , which is available in colors like Pink and Cyan.

Overall, the BLU Studio G2's humble bundle of pros and cons make it nothing more than a 5-inch option for the Android neophyte.
