- Analysis by KJ David
A mediocre spec sheet from BLU's Android studio, the Studio M HD does not offer LTE (quite a huge con for a 2016 Q1 smartphone) and has a middling 2-megapixel frontal camera . It also does not go beyond a 2000mAh battery capacity , which, as of its release, was about the average. Adding to those drawbacks is the 1GB-only RAM assisting its typical 1.3GHz quad-core CPU and Mali-400 graphics chip.
This 5-inch HD Android's pros, on the other hand, include a 16GB on-board memory , knowing that many similar models settle for 8GB. Moreover, considering that many of its rivals (budget-tier models) sport 5-megapixel rear cameras, its 8-megapixel Full-HD-video main cam sounds passable.
So, in essence, the BLU Studio M HD's specifications are far from making it a masterpiece among BLU phones, but at least, its mix of pros and cons is a familiar one in this Android tier.
