BLU's Studio Max takes its name from the robust battery sitting in its engine room, particularly, a 4000mAh battery cell 
promising up to 4320 minutes of standard usage on a single charge and lasting a maximum of 30 days on standby . In comparison, a good number of higher-specked 2016 models -- including some flagships -- pack somewhere around 3000mAh only.
Despite its compelling pro on the stamina front, however, the Studio Max still has its cons, one of which is the 2GB-only RAM 
accompanying its 1.3GHz eight-core MediaTek 6753 processor and Mali-T720 GPU , since 2016 was the year were 3GB-RAM smartphones took off. It also sticks to a middling (for a phone of its caliber) 16GB internal memory and an up-to-64GB-only memory expansion support , whereas some of its middle-class competitors lug up to 64GB inbuilt memories and support 128GB microSD cards.

As for its physical specs, the Studio Max is encased by an electrolyzed metallic front frame met by an aluminum battery cover , somewhat a traditional design facet among most 2016 BLU smartphones. We find its 8.5mm thickness a bit of a con, though, since many other mid-end models released around roughly the same time measure only about 7mm thin.
