Despite its expansive 6-inch screen , which sadly only has an HD-720p-only definition (instead of Full HD), the BLU Studio X6 settles for an entry-level shelf spot, judging from the rest of its specs.
It comes with a mere HSPA+ (3.5G) network adapter , neglecting the popularity of 4G LTE around the time of its release. Also, it runs on nothing but a 1.3GHz quad-core CPU accompanied by a 1GB-only RAM -- a typical con among low-key models. On the flip side, the Studio X6 features a leather-like back finish and an 8-megapixel FHD-video rear camera . Its list of pros end there, however, since the remainder of its features, including a 5-megapixel selfie cam and a 2800mAh battery, were no longer that impressive when it came out.
In essence, the Studio X6's mix of pros and cons may include a large display, but BLU needs to go back to the drawing board if it wants to produce a compelling 2016 phablet.
