The Studio XL 2 may be home to a 4900mAh Super Battery (as BLU calls it), which swaggers with a 30-day standby time and a 72-hour usage time , but this 200-gram-heavy phablet opts for a mass-tier route with the rest of its pros and cons.
Among its setbacks are a 6-inch screen, which, though large, suffers from an HD-720-only resolution and a 216ppi pixel density . In comparison, a few other 6-inchers rock Full HD (1080p) screens and roughly 400 pixels per inch. Adding to its cons is an unpromising 1.3GHz quad-core processor that at least has a decent 2GB RAM tagging along.
On the flip side, this sequel to the Studio XL offers a 13-megapixel dual-LED-flash FHD-video camera alongside a 5-megapixel selfie cam with its own front-firing LED flash . Its pros also include a 4G LTE network compatibility and a respectable (considering its other specs) 16GB internal memory , though its up-to-64GB-only microSD card support may sound alarming to some multimedia junkies.
All that said, the BLU Studio XL 2 may not be very big on hardware, but it likely does just fine as a Marshmallow-sporting Android for the power-hungry phablet seeker.
