- Analysis by KJ David
The 4G version of an entry-level BLU phablet of the same name, the Studio XL LTE's specs include a large, but unimpressive 6-inch IPS-OGS (Infinite View plus Nex Lens technologies) screen rocking a mere qHD-540p resolution and a bleak 183ppi pixel density . In comparison, a good number of other 6-inchers have at least HD-720p definitions and roughly 260ppi.
As for the rest of its pros and cons, the BLU Studio XL LTE is powered by a 3000mAh battery , yet it relies on an elementary 1.3GHz quad-core CPU with no more than 1GB of RAM to work with. Also on board are a passable (for a budget-class Android) duo of 8- and 5-megapixel cameras , with 8GB of memory extendable by up to 64GB functioning from behind the scenes.
In the end, even though it has a couple of major flaws, the Studio XL LTE's pros may sound good-enough for the budget phablet seeker.
