BLU Vivo 6 Review of Pros And Cons

Although it fails to deliver a Quad HD (1440p) display and settles for a Full-HD-1080p-only maximum video-recording resolution (many similar models capture UHD-2160p videos), the BLU Vivo 6 challenges other flagship Androids nevertheless, with a 1.8GHz Helio P10 eight-core processor and 4GB's worth of RAM sitting behind its 5.5-inch FHD curved Gorilla Glass 3 display.

Alongside its promising hardware are a one-touch fingerprint sensor and LTE Cat 6 connectivity of up to 300Mbps -- twice as promising compared to LTE Cat 4. Despite lacking 4K imaging, its 13-megapixel IMX258-sensor camera also passes the high-end mark, with both phase-detection and laser autofocus on board.

Among its other pros and cons are an 8-megapixel front-facing sub-camera , a DTS Audio sound system , and a 64GB internal memory that oddly can only be expanded by up to 64GB -- we expected support for 128GB memory cards. Tying its specs together is a casing made up of aircraft-grade aluminum, mirror-like edges, and a powder-coated back cover of either gold or rose gold.

All-in-all, the Vivo 6 is bound for high-end shoppers who focus on performance, connectivity, and physique.
