BLU Vivo XL Pros & Cons Review

Despite being named XL, the BLU Vivo XL sports a similar 5.5-inch HD-720p-only Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass 3 screen as the Vivo 5 -- another CES 2016 announcement from the brand. That said, this model comes with a couple more cons than its sibling.

It dials the Vivo 5's 32GB memory and 3GB RAM down to 16GB and 2GB respectively, but retains its eight-core 64GB 1.3GHz processor and Mali-T720 GPU. Notwithstanding, it rocks a USB Type-C reversible connector in conjunction with a liquid metal finish (with Blue and Pink added to the color options). The Vivo XL also features a 13-megapixel PDAF (phase-detection autofocus) camera with a blue lens, a rather expected facet from 2016 high-end Android phones. The DTS Surround Sound technology also graces its audio department.

In a nutshell, this model's array of pros and cons are a bit less-advanced than the Vivo 5's, but at least specs like the Type-C USB technology and octa-core CPU are intact.
