Also known as the Pioneer, Elephone's P7000 is one of the earliest smartphones offering a fingerprint-based Touch ID (with 360-degree rotational detection) -- the iPhone 6 being one of the most notable models. Pros like MediaTek's MT6752 64-bit octa-core processor (85228 Android CPU mark) and a 3GB RAM are housed behind its 5.5-inch Full HD Gorilla Glass 3 screen, too.
Its 3450mAh removable battery also seems like a nifty perk, but the mere 96-hour standby time (388.8 hours is the September 2015 average) is quite disappointing. The P7000 could also have been a nice venue for 4K-video-capture , though its Sony IMX214 13-megapixel camera and 5-megapixel selfie cam aren't half bad.
Elephone's Pioneer might not be a pioneer in any aspect, but it scores high on many attributes regardless.
