Truth be told, there's nothing prime about this phone's set of specs -- contrary to what its name might imply. It is, after all, still more of an entry-level device.
Its standout feature would have to be its fingerprint scanner 
. Even though we have already encountered a few fingerprint-detecting smartphones-on-a-budget, it's still a newly-emerging trend in this specific subcategory as of this article's writing, and such a provision can still be considered as uncommon for a device of the Prime's stature.
Its imaging specs (consisting of a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel selfie sensor) are average for the most part. The only noteworthy point to know is that its rear camera can record 1080p videos . Many similar models only offer 720p recording, so this particular spec is a pro. It does miss out on a front-facing LED flash 
-- something that some similar budget phones (notably those from BLU) have down on pat.
It also has some notable pros and cons in the hardware department. It offers 1GB of RAM , which is a relatively-heartening value for the price range. Where it lags behind many of the competition is in terms of the clock speed that its CPU produces. At 1.2GHz , it's not the best offering you can get at this particular facet.
As for the display, with an 854 x 480 resolution , we doubt if anything beyond the usual messaging and calling would be significantly-enjoyable for the user.
In spite of the above shortcomings, the FIGO PRIME enjoys a competitive 2200mAh battery . To add, this doesn't translate to a too-bulky exterior, as the device comes in relatively-thin at 9.2mm .

At the end of the day, the FIGO Prime is still just like most of its budget colleagues, with low-end specs and similarly-subdued pros and cons. Save for the fingerprint detector, none of its features significantly go beyond the average values in its subcategory (as of mid-2107).
