Freetel Samurai Kiwami Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

The Freetel Samurai Kiwami is one of the first models from relatively-new Japanese brand Freetel to make it to North America, and judging from its assortment of pros and cons, it is not going to be a pushover.

Among its specs are a 6-inch 2K (1440p) display , which is powered by a juicy-enough 3400mAh battery . It is also pretty big on imaging, rocking a high-resolution 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 primary camera , which sadly sticks to a Full HD maximum video recording resolution (instead of 4K or Ultra HD), while an 8-megapixel secondary camera sits up front. It fails to indicate whether a microSD card slot is present , a slight con in our book, but it comes with 32GB of internal memory. Running this device is an octa-core MT6795 2.2GHz processor alongside a 3GB RAM , while fingerprint authentication leads its security components.

So, here's what we know of the Samurai Kiwami: It is definitely a high-end Android, but its pros do not quite slice through premium space.
