- Analysis by KJ David
With a MediaTek MT6795 2GHz octa-core CPU and a 24-megapixel camera leading its pros and cons, Gionee's Elife E8 is in for a life in the premium-end category. Another notable feature is the biometric fingerprint security feature , which is offered only by flagship devices, as of its release.
Despite coming with a relatively bulky (164 x 82.28 x 9.6mm) and heavy 210g body, the E8 offers a pretty impressive 3GB RAM and 64GB internal memory . Its 3520mAh battery power is quite appreciable, too. Its 6-inch screen tops off its pros, rocking a WQHD resolution on 490ppi . Gionee limits the E8 to a Full HD video capacity instead of Quad HD, but this setback is far from sucking the life out of this ultra-high-end Android.
