Gionee Marathon M5 Pros & Cons Review

- Analysis by KJ David

The Gionee Marathon M5's long-running 6020mAh battery with dual charging chips is more than likely enough to get power-hungry users pumped up, though it sadly joins a couple of entry- to mid-range cons, including an HD resolution (whereas Full HD was a more fitting choice) on its 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display and an unimpressive 1.3GHz quad-core processor . It also trades off some convenience, weighing in at 214g .

That being said, pros like a metallic unibody , a 13-megapixel phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) camera , and an up-to-128GB microSD support (16GB native memory) might be enough to re-hydrate its profile. 4G LTE sounds nice on a device geared towards lengthy hours of usage as well.
